Karen has been a CPA in the Tidewater area for almost 25 years. She was born and raised in Alexandria, VA where she attended St. Mary’s Academy, an all girls Catholic school. She moved to Norfolk to attend Old Dominion University. Immediately after graduation she joined Goodman & Company as an auditor and tax preparer. After twelve years she left to work with two of her clients that had merged several companies together and sold their products all around the world. She remained their CFO for 10 years.
